About the Project:
E-net, is Elon University's internal homepage and news site. It sports a responsive layout that adjusts to the width of users' devices (it looks great on phones, tablets, laptops, desktops … you get the idea). I designed it to utilize a structured and intentional visual hierarchy guiding users down the page. Content is prioritized by placement and size. To quickly capture user attention, featured headlines are given large thumbnails and article summary blurbs. Thumbnails and blurbs are scaled down the further down users scrolls. This hierarchy increases the volume of information presented on the screen while retaining scannability and readability.
